What we’re looking for in you
Required:
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Current Minnesota RN license with regular renewal
- Current BLS from American Heart or Red Cross
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certificate. If not present at hire, must be obtained within 2 years of start date.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
The skills/experience you bring as a Oncology Research RN
Required:
- Minimum of one year experience with chemotherapy/biotherapy infusions
- Communication skills
The purpose of the Oncology Research RN role
As an Oncology Research RN you will facilitate clinical research activity by screening patients for protocol eligibility and enrolling patients onto clinic trials. This position provides nursing and data management support to identify, enroll and manage patients on research studies with the MMCORC (Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium). This position provides overall ongoing coordination of study requirements for patients enrolled in NCI sponsored studies. This position works with MMCORC staff and investigators in the identification and recruitment of studies and patients. This person maintains study records and is responsible for data management of designated cases and studies.
