-Monitor and maintain 100 plus ABB Gas Flow Meters for SACROC and LDMU.
-Monitor and maintain 20 plus Foxboro/Vera bar Meters for SACROC.
-Perform monthly calibrations and PMs for ABB and Foxboro meters using PK calibration -equipment, RTD probes and pneumatic gauges.
- 5 years’ experience in gas measurement.

-The candidate must have previous experience operating Inf-Con Fusion Gas Chromatograph equipment.
Preferred Experience/knowledge:
-Ability to Perform meter repairs as needed.
-Replace XIMV and IMV pressure sensors as needed.
-Replace and program faulty XFC G5 Boards on ABB meters as needed.
-Replace faulty Parker 5-way manifolds on ABB meters as needed.
-Replace faulty RTD probes for ABB meters and meter tubes as needed.
-Replace faulty batteries and solar panels for ABB meters as needed.
-Upgrade Orifice plates as needed, upsize and downsize according to gas flow volumes.
-Reprogram meters for changes in orifice plate sizing.
-Reprogram ABB meters for changes in gas analysis composition for accurate flow rates.
-Work with IE group for ABB Flow meter communications with PLC cabinet for SCADA relay.
-Replacing outdated Foxboro meters with ABB Flow meters and converting programing to accommodate Vera bar readings instead of orifice plate flow conversions.
-Addressing any gas flow concerns high/low reading volumes that arise SACROC/LDMU.
-Monitoring of SCADA for gas flow meter relay for accurate gas flow volume readings.
-Perform annual H2s survey with Mobil Lab, Tutwiler H2s testing, SACROC/LDMU.
-Work with KM Project Team Engineers for new facility setup and design for gas flow meter tube selection and sizing for orifice plate and meter tube size.
-Work with Operations group on any gas flow issues ABB Flow meter issues or flow volume issues that arise.
-Placing orders and keeping items in stock and on hand for ABB Flow meter repair and service, XIMV IMV pressure sensors, XFC G-5 Boards, RTD’s, Batteries, Manifolds, Solar panels, H2s Rae Tubes, H2s Sample Pumps along with orifice plates.
-Keeping gas cylinders monitored for pressure levels and service.
-UHP Nitrogen, for PK calibrations and Oxygen surveys.
-UHP Helium, for Inf-icon Fusion Gas Chromatograph testing of gas samples.
-Calibration Gas, for Inf-icon Fusion Gas Chromatograph and Oxygen Analyzers.
-Performing weekly Oxygen Surveys at SACROC/LDMU Water Gathering Facilities 30# Vapor lines as needed for oxygen issues at the plant SGP/Shlumberjay.
-Perform monthly gas chromatograph testing for all Manifold facilities and 30# Vapor SACROC/LDMU.
-Includes the gas streams of the 400, 200# and 100# systems. Uploading test results into PRODNET and sending results to Midland Team.
-Testing all Well Gas samples collected by Operations with gas chromatograph and uploading test results into PRODNET and sending results to Midland Team.
-Maintain and inspection of all Gas Department test equipment, monthly and annual inspections and calibration checks. PK equipment, RTD probes, pressure gauges and Gas Chromatographs (bake outs and calibration).
- Experience in EOR floods. “Enhanced Oil Recovery”
- Thorough understanding of EOR Production Process Equipment to include Water Injection Facilities and how they relate to the operation.
- Previous or current experience with CO2 Production Process facilities.
- Previous or current experience with LOTO, MOC, PHA and PSSR’s documentation and process
Educational Requirements:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent.
