Primary Purpose: Assist and support Kinder Morgan Liquids Terminals Northern Area in the execution and continuous improvement of Quality Assurance (QA) programs, with a primary focus on the Dual Verification Program. Responsibilities include driving the development, implementation, and standardization of both field and office operational processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, mitigate operational risks, and enhance overall program effectiveness. Support training, change management, and audit readiness efforts, contributing to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the Northern Area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on TO&M 6000, providing authoritative guidance, technical support, and interpretation of standards and procedures.
- Lead a Northern Area-wide baseline assessment of the Dual Verification Program, ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and lead the closure of action items to improve operational performance and mitigate compliance risks across the Northern Area.
- Drive standardization of processes for both field and office operations, ensuring alignment with best practices and operational efficiency.
- Identify, support, and help implement technology solutions that reduce risk exposure, improve reliability, and enhance overall operational integrity.
- Develop and execute a program of continuous auditing across all elements of the Dual Verification Program to promote sustained compliance and accountability.
- Lead or participate in incident investigations, contributing to root cause analysis, corrective action development, and implementation to prevent recurrence.
- Review and approve any changes to Dual Verification procedures in the Northern Area to ensure standardization and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving organizational needs.

Minimum requirements: Education: - 4 year degree in Business, Engineering or another applicable field.
Experience / specific knowledge: - Safety and field operations experience required.
Certifications, licenses, registrations: - Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company insurance carrier
- Will be required to obtain and maintain TWIC credentials to work at various locations within the region.
Competencies, skills, and abilities: - Ability to clearly and effectively communicate orally and in writing upwardly, laterally and downward within the company organization, with customers, and with others as necessary.
- Ability to take and give direction and work cooperatively with others
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
- Diligent and proactive with strong attention to detail and results oriented
Physical demands: - Ability to work in an office and field environment
Working conditions: - Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday
- Applicant must be willing and able to work extended hours on short notice to include weekends as required
- Extensive travel across all Northern Area Assets.
