PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Provide internal support services to all employees and direct support to the facilities management team. Perform various general mail and copy center services and other duties as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shipping, receiving, sorting and delivering of interoffice and USPS mail, including two mail runs per day on Kinder Morgan floors.
  • Shipping, receiving, sorting and delivering of overnight packages using Pitney Bowes tracking software.
  • Operate postage machine, high speed multi-function devices, folding, inserting, cutting and binding equipment.
  • Accurately maintain internal mail delivery slots.
  • Coordinate with mail and package delivery vendors.
  • Primary backup for reception duties if receptionist is away from desk, out of office or on vacation.
  • Monitor Facilities work ticket system to assign tickets and ensure timely completion of tickets.
  • Stock all 2nd floor coffee bar supplies and clean CX Touch coffee makers two times daily.
  • Manage company store display case by adding and removing items from case as instructed.
  • Assist Facilities with special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. 



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma required, and some college preferred

 

EXPERIENCE / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

  • Preferably a minimum of 1-year direct mailroom work experience.

 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Some proficiency with Microsoft applications (including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) for the purpose of word processing, spreadsheets and information retrieval.
  • Must possess and regularly demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily work and maintain confidentiality.

  • The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

Above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position:

  • Progressively responsible mail / copy center responsibilities are highly desirable.

Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set.
