Job Description: The CDL Driver is responsible for the loading, the unloading and the safe delivery of liquified natural gas (LNG) to commercial customers, as well as performing minor equipment maintenance and routine safety checks on our regasification systems. In this role, the CDL Driver is responsible for the handling and transportation of bulk liquid commodities, which include hazardous materials and routine maintenance of equipment. The vast majority of our deliveries are local, where you will be returning to your home location at the end of each shift. Overnight trips and business travel are seldom required. Paid Training will be provided.

Position Requirements Responsibilities and Duties: Load chemicals into the tank trailerAccurately complete Bills of Lading, and other documents as requiredTransport and unload chemicals into the customers tanksMust follow all applicable DOT and Chemtrade rules and regulationsMaintain vehicle cleanlinessPerform routine pre and post trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain accurate and legible logs and records in compliance with DOT and company standardsDiagnose standard mechanical equipment problemsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentWill also perform warehouse and yard duties as neededMay Include with Proper Training: Troubleshoot and repair defective equipmentDismantle and reassemble/rebuild equipment as necessaryPerform routine preventative maintenance on offsite equipmentFabricate parts as neededPerform safety inspections on equipmentMaintain accurate equipment maintenance records for each customerRespond to work order request in a timely fashionRequirements and Qualifications:Valid class A CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements or willing to obtainSome tractor trailer driving experience with class 8 trucks and trailersFlexibility on shift, may require different shifts due to customer needsMust be able to pass DOT physicalExperience working with hand toolsStrong working knowledge of job site safetyHigh standard of integrity and professionalism
