What your job will be like: 

We are seeking an Inspection Records Administrator. Under the direction of the Performance Assurance Manager, this person will obtain and organize compliance inspection records for multiple programs overseen by the Performance Assurance Department.  This position will maintain these records for all new and modified systems across the lab, as well as provide work packages and tentative schedules for field inspectors each month. This position will also ensure that all equipment is accounted for in an online database and scheduled for compliance inspection prior to use.  

Your Role Will:

  1. Organize and prepare inspection schedules and packages for multiple inspectors and programs.
  2. Receive, organize and electronically file compliance inspection results in an orderly manner.
  3. Work with departmental management and MIS to help develop an easy to use, efficient database.
  4. Work with other divisions to track and ensure equipment compliance inspection prior to operational use.
  5. Train JSA personnel in proper program usage and requirements

Qualifications We  Require:


Relevant Associate Degree and,


Seven (7) years progressively responsible experience in an administrative capacity 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and database development
  • Basic knowledge of configuration management processes, to include primary components and how they should be set up for a compliance inspection program
  • Basic understanding of QR codes and uses
  • Rudimentary understanding of safety practices associated with electrical systems and welding processes
  • Able to effectively train people outside his/her work group

b) Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, reports and other documents
c) Ability to understand, remember, and communicate information and make decisions
d) Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate, explore and implement alternative solutions
e) Ability to prioritize. Organize and complete complex and varied tasks
f) Ability to think analytically

a)     Ability to walk to various locations on the laboratory site and access work areas
b)     Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
c)     Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally
d)     Ability to open files and cabinet drawers, stoop and bend
e)     Ability to keyboard, mouse and use telephones frequently
f)      Visual capabilities sufficient to use computer workstations, read documents, and see safety alarms
g)     Auditory capabilities to hear safety alarms
