Position Description:

Position Purpose:
The Senior Software Engineer – Workforce Management Integrations will work closely with all Workforce Management team leads, product managers, and business stakeholders as needed to implement integrations and support the Workforce Management system. They will be responsible for maintenance and development of the Boomi integrations in the Workforce Management system. They will also participate in cross-functional project teams to provide and implement effective system solutions. Additionally, they will collaborate with all functional workstreams to ensure effective system set up and efficient processes both internally and externally between systems and vendors.

The engineer will ensure compliance in all areas including SOX and data security, as well as work with the subject matter experts and cross functional technical team to address questions, perform research, provide requirements, and perform system testing.

10% Supports and Enables - Helps grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions

Nature and Scope:
This position typically reports to Software Engineer Manager or Sr. Manager

For Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City residents: The pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $180,000.  Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive financial and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.

Environmental Job Requirements:

1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
No travel required.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:

3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Boomi
  • 1-3 years of experience with UKG(Kronos) Workforce Management systems
  • Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON, REST/SOAP web services & API implementation
  • Possesses functional knowledge of Workforce Management core business processes as well as strong systems analytics and support background. Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, proven ability to prioritize and deliver results on time.
  • Strong desire to work with clients and provide exceptional client experiences. Consultative work style with high degree of professionalism and customer focus.
  • Must be detailed oriented, a problem solver, analytical and able to work independent.
