POSITION PURPOSE

We are looking for an awesome and talented email marketing specialist. As an Email Marketing specialist, you will own and be responsible for the pre-production, production, set up, execution and reporting of email campaigns. This role is responsible for managing the organization’s email marketing campaigns, streamlining content across marketing channels, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This includes creation of content and copy, management of the creative process, execution, and reporting. Emails and digital channels communicate directly with the customer, driving merchandise sales/revenue growth, providing visual representation of product for low cost advertising purposes, and influencing customer user experience/satisfaction. 

This role will also field ad-hoc requests from across the enterprise for changes necessary to support various business functions, such as but not limited to producing marketing copy for social, web pages layouts and other creative projects. This role will work closely with the Sr. CRM analyst and will partner with key stakeholders in creative, ecommerce, vendors, merchandising/marketing and more to deliver seamless results.


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • 20% Capture marketing campaign requirements through close collaboration with marketing partners
  • 40% Provide marketing support, including set-up of campaigns in Unica, for small to medium size campaigns
  • 40% Design, test and execute campaigns using product- and activity-based purchase triggers, segment and personalization rules to support business goals

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:
BA in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
Prior experience in Ecommerce, Retail, or data management preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Bronto Oracle ESP. Knowledge of 4Cite Technology would be a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent project and time management skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate analytical information in clear, concise presentations
Experienced in CRM execution and management, preferably in a retail context
Experienced in the application of segmentation and predictive modeling
Strong analytical skills
skilled in utilizing Unica and other CRM software
Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Access
