For Nevada and New York City residents: The pay range for this position is between $130k and $160k.  Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

The Senior Product Manager leads team Enrich to extract merchandising relationship insights by leveraging data science and engineering.  These relationships will also enable merchandising solutions for pricing and assortments.

The Sr. Product Manager must not only be able to develop new ideas for products, but deliver them in coordination with a product roadmap. You are a leader and are comfortable operating in both technical and business environments. The Sr. Product Managers work closely with teams of developers, designers, data scientist and business partners. They support in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization and support cross- functional product teams. Importantly, the Sr. Product Manager, must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas for growth, change management) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems, being a force multiplier and leader of their teams). The Sr. Product Manager is often responsible for products that are higher-profile and/or that are larger in scope.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop/contribute to product roadmap that fits into the vision of Home Depot; Work with Dev. Managers to groom backlogs, sprint plan, lead demos, retrospectives and daily standups; Write clear and concise requirements and user stories, prioritize development items and coordinate schedules with data science and engineering teams

Align on and communicate roadmap to stakeholders; Work with Business partners to understand and support change management needs and cross functional dependencies; Work with support and business counterparts to develop pilots programs, product rollout plans etc.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Standard Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years experience in product management or as a product owner building and shipping products
Experience working with product teams (engineering, UX, Data Science) with strong interpersonal skills
Experience communicating and presenting to leadership teams and facilitating projects

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience steering cross-functional agile teams in collaboration with engineering, data science, design, BI and support. 
  • Experience with Retail business
  • Experience with building Machine Learning solutions
  • Experience with bots and related technologies to retrieve information from the Web
  • Experience with building customer facing web applications
