Regions Hospital is seeking a full time Cancer Registrar to work in our Oncology department. In this position you will be responsible for complete and accurate data collection, maintenance, and update of Cancer Registry; as well as reporting cases to the Minnesota Department of Health and the National Cancer Data Base. Assist Oncology program in the required standards for certification. Provides oncology data to be used for education, patient follow-up, and research. Performance of other duties as assigned by manager.

Completion of the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) formal education certificate OR degree program within three years of hire. Candidates who have successfully completed the NCRA program must be eligible to take Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) exam within 6 months of hire. Candidates who are in the process of completing the NCRA program must be eligible to take CTR exam within 6 months after completion.
