Your Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
- Support business and EHS Manager in driving an EHS culture as well as high quality results in terms of EHS

Key Responsibilities:
Amongst others, support business and EHS manager in:
- Developing site/plant personnel safety programmes and training employees at the plant, developing/teaching hazard avoidance and disease prevention
- Developing and monitoring implementation of training and education programmes for safety compliance strategies and various regulatory requirements in a manufacturing safety
- Monitoring the adherence to guidelines and policies
- Conducting safety studies
- Performing workplaces risks screenings and analysis (lead specific taskforces)
- Promoting a prevention culture amongst the organization
- Analysing incidents, first aids, accidents, spills and propose preventive/corrective actions
- Supporting and advising line management.


Why You?

Basic qualifications:

- Engineering degree or BSc in sciences (electro-mechanics, chemistry, environment, etc…)
- At least 3 years professional experience with at least 2 years in similar business (biotech, pharma, food industry)

Preferred qualifications:
- Is able to take prompt decisions related to challenges and issues of own unit to ensure continued effectiveness of own unit
- Is able to follow policies, procedures and own business plan and impact the efficiency and effectiveness of own unit
