We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our hit to lead medicinal chemistry group in Collegeville, PA. Our group partners with program teams across GSK’s therapy area units to deliver high quality small molecule starting points for lead optimization.
The successful applicant will develop an expertise in hit to lead medicinal chemistry and hit identification tactics, while operating as a highly productive synthetic organic chemist. Initial responsibilities will include the design and synthesis of improved analogs of screening hits. Excellent communication skills are essential as the chemist will be interfacing with the multiple business partners in drug discovery.
