Denver Health & Hospital is currently recruiting for a full-time Psychologist who will work for the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders at Denver Health. This position will provide clinical services as a licensed, doctoral-level psychologist for the ACUTE unit. Services will include expert diagnostic assessment, individual psychotherapy, and consultation/coordination with multidisciplinary team members. Also provides case coordination and outreach as needed. Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team and provides clinical teaching and leadership for other staff members. Opportunities for involvement in eating disorder related research projects as well as supervision of trainees may be available.
• Licensed as a Psychologist by the State of Colorado.
• Doctoral degree in psychology.
• Previous experience of 4000 hours supervised clinical service, including completion of doctoral internship and one year postdoctoral experience; 2000 hours providing behavioral health services.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in effective psychological practice with eating disorder population.
• Familiarity with integrated behavioral health care and comfort working within a fast-paced medical setting.
•Can participate as a faculty member with the psychology internship and training program.
• Able to provide psychodiagnostic assessment, intervention and patient education for patients with severe eating disorders.
