Position Summary:
Provides marketing coordination and account service functions for provider and clinical departments, other Carle services and products, as well as the Strategic Business Units of Carle. Develops the integrated marketing communications strategy and leads production of advertising, publicity, publications and media and marketing plans for these entities.

Bachelor's Degree in Related field or Associate's Degree in Related field plus two additional years of Marketing Communications experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
At least six (6) years Marketing Communications or Related Field with Bachelor's Degree or at least eight (8) years Marketing Communications or Related Field with Associate's Degree.

Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent judgment. Skilled and creative writer. Effective oral presenter. Able to work successfully on several widely different projects simultaneously. Solid understanding of branding and able to apply to daily work situations. Demonstrated skills in professional writing with ability to clearly articulate concepts. Diplomacy and excellent interpersonal skills to set priorities to balance urgent from important tasks. Problem-solving and project management skills.
Essential Functions:
- The Senior Account Executive will fulfill all of the duties of the Account Executive role with the following addional responsibilities.
- Develop clear, concise and forward-thinking marketing strategies that demonstrate an understanding of client objectives.
- Lead special projects as assigned and needed.
- Serve as peer reviewer for peer senior partners and senior account executives providing feedback, overseeing colleagues materials and managing approvals as needed.
- Maintain project budget requirements.
- Guide senior leaders and board on marketing strategies and communications.
- Monitor industry trends and identify strategic opportunities.
- Conduct audience research, create and manage project analytics and metrics, identify recommendations and provide solutions; create post-campaign report.
- Evaluate scenarios, exercise independent judgment to identify solutions within the department and beyond
- Serve on department interview committees to screen new hires, onboard new team members, review team members work materials and serve as mentor.
- Identify vendors, negotiate agreements, and monitor performance.
- Collaborate with Health Alliance, providing a complimentary approach; between health plan and provider communications.
