Position Summary:
The Linen Service Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient day to day operation of the linen service department. This will include daily linen ordering and inventory counts, daily task assignments for staff, schedule oversight.

Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Some college preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Some supervisory experience

Organization Inventory Staff Development/job readiness coaching

Essential Functions:

  • Daily linen ordering
  • Daily linen inventory
  • Daily soiled linen removal
  • Staff Scheduling
  • Daily staff task assignments
  • Workflow development
  • Periodic rounding with nursing staff/leadership for linen services
  • Interviewing candidates
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Liaison for JRLP program
  • 1:1 staff coaching
  • Quality Inspections
  • Monthly Vendor meeting
  • AEx machine staff access
  • Training documentation is up to date and accurate
  • Perform yearly on-site inspection of linen processing facility
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are tracked and up to date, including yearly infectious disease training
