Position Description:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, assists in all day to day activities and all activitites performed within the department are in accordance with the company's business objectives, budgetary guidelines, and established safety standards.  

Reviews, plans, and coordinates all job assignments, sets work priorities, makes cost-effective assignment decisions and ensures the completion of projects in a timely, efficient and effective manner.  

Enforces and maintains superior facility standards at all times.

Creates a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, respect and team member satisfaction, quality hiring, training and succession planning processes.

Works  closely in mentoring and coaching Facilities team members in additional tasks and responsibilities to optiimize advancement opportiunities available for the team.

Ensures high level of service standards for the Facilities operations team as well as exceptional inter-departmental collaboration, communication and support.

 Ensures the building infrastructure needs are being monitored, tracked and maintained to ensure optimum efficiency and reliability.

Maintains a property emergency response plan with a thoroughly trained and prepared staff, including on site availability when necessary to direct activities during such events.

Possesses thorough computer abilities using basic Microsoft Office programs, Maintenance  Management programs, and Buildiing Automation systems. 

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Six (6) months of prior experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
  • Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
