Position Description:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Security department. Responsible for all aspects of personnel management. Formulate and enforce consistent application of departmental and company policies and procedures, including emergency response procedures.

  • Ensure the security, safety, and protection of guests, employee, and property and company assets.

  • Provide management, direction and leadership to security department staff including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and discharging.

  • Supervise, perform and respond to routine or emergency duties requiring moderate to strenuous physical exertion.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all department personnel consistently act in strict accordance with all applicable laws as well as established departmental and company policies and procedures.

  • Formulate and monitor enforcement of departmental policy and procedures and emergency response procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of experience in security, police or military in a supervisory or managerial capacity required.

  • Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of security and safety procedures and regulations.

  • Must have excellent customer service and communications skills.

  • Physical aspects of the job may include walking and standing for extended periods of time and responding to emergency situations requiring the exertion of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.

  • Must be computer literate.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
