To remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to shop floor paperwork.
Perform instructions outlined in the Production Manual for Production Assistants Operate pallet jacks and fork trucks Assist operators as needed to minimize downtime during cleanups and maintenance Maintain neat and clear aisles for product transfer and safety Weigh and package rolls Thread Line Use and complete paperwork Understand and follow quality specifications Understand and follow safety guidelines Understand and follow job safety analysis Do Q.A. clean-up Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area Provide direct support for product movement (raw and finished) Make boxes, as necessary Other duties as assigned
Manual Dexterity -- The ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Information Ordering -- The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations). Near Vision -- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Extent Flexibility -- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Wrist-Finger Speed -- The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Multi-limb Coordination -- The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. Lifting Requirements -- Ability to lift 50 pounds over head to total height of six feet. Walking/Standing---Requirements ability to walk and or stand for 12 hours per day.
Assigned 12-hour schedule (switching from nights to days, monthly) Schedule rotates as follows: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, etc. Flexibility for occasional overtime and call-in work required
Report directly to Shift Supervisor for purposes of scheduling, performance evaluation, and compensation assessment Indirectly reports to Plant Manager for product requirements, quality requirements, and overall departmental goals;"
