As a senior technology team leader you will be responsible for:
End-to-end accountable for the development, provisioning and the support of the Reporting environment of BICS;
Team leading of 7-10 highly skilled developers using Teradata and Hadoop as a back-end infrastructure , Informatica as ETL tool and Qlikview to create the reporting environment;
Accountable for the resource budget and effective use of assigned resources to obtain maximum productivity and quality (activities completed within planned time scales, resource estimates & budget);
The application and optimisation of the development process, tools and techniques in the team, the overall technical design of the solution, documentation guidelines and follow-up;
Further investigate and develop new DWH, BI and Big Data technologies to address the best business needs;
Providing leadership in the application excellence and technology roadmap, driving the team for a higher quality delivery and optimising the investments done in hardware and software;
Taking care of the support for the applications delivered, follow up on the support calls and issues at the vendor’s site.
You have an IT master degree or equivalent by experience;
You have experience in managing a small – medium size team;
You have experience in organising the support of a large set of applications in a rather complex business and technology environment;
Technologies: experienced in Database technology (Teradata…), ETL tool, reporting tools and techniques and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark…);
Languages : English (very good in reading, writing, speaking) is a must.
