Relocation Provided:



To perform professional and analytical duties to develop, maintain, and administer benefit programs and policies.  Draft benefit documents, maintain benefits records, and create reports for implementing and maintaining benefit plans. 



Required Experience:

• Five years HR benefit programs


Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree ( preferably in Human Resources or a business related field)


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

• Defined Benefit Plans
• 401(k) Plans
• Life Insurance Plans
• Flexible Spending Accounts
• Disability Programs: Long Term Disability  (LTD),Short Term Disability (STD) and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
• Federal and state laws related to benefit programs
• Summary Plan Documents
• Benefit Audits and Surveys


Skills:

• Verbal and written communication
• Analytical
• Organizational
• Detail oriented
• Problem solving
• Effective negotiations
• HRIS (data entry and reporting)
• Microsoft Word - Basic
• Microsoft Excel - Intermediate
• Microsoft Outlook – Basic
• Microsoft PowerPoint – Basic

 
Ability To:

• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Review and interpret benefit plan documents
• Prepare reports, project documentation, and write procedures
• Consult with employees on benefit programs
• Work with benefit vendors effectively
• Exhibit a high level of customer service


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
• Familiarity with Lawson HRIS
