    Job Description

     

    Are you a recent graduate looking for a chance to make exciting projects happen in a high-tech sector? Do you enjoy planning things and getting them to run efficiently? Are you great at including and motivating other people to help?

    If so, then you could be just right for our Graduate Project Manager role in the Architecture & Technology Group (ATG) within Arm.

    The ATG team develops world-leading secure CPU and system architectures, enabling our partners to build compelling products. This has led to Arm technology being at the heart of a huge number of electronic products around you, such as your mobile phone, PC, gaming consoles and TV.

    As a project manager in ATG, there is an exciting career path ahead! We work on projects that are looking multiple years into the future and you can develop project management skills from hands-on experiences - whilst working with many people, often across multiple locations and time zones.

     

    Job Requirements



    A university degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering or Project Management background is desired, although other degrees would be considered if there is relevant experience.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Excellent networking and social skills
    • Highly organised, shown either during university or in personal life
    • Diligent with great attention to detail
    • Pro-active and self-motivated, able to deliver tasks to a deadline
    • Problem solving, and analytical thinking
    • A good listener, with a collaborative attitude

    Desirable (but not essential) skills & experience

    • Technical background, either through formal training or as hobbyist
    • An understanding of hardware and / or software design
    • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Excel
    • Familiarity with project management tools e.g. Microsoft Project

    Key responsibilities

    • Assist with project planning, reporting, communication and risk analysis
    • Assist with collation, analysis and reporting of project metrics and trends
    • Create, co-ordinate and upload content to Project Management intranet pages
    • Learn how Project Management operates at Arm; and later put it into practice
    • Collaborate with others to improve Project Management processes & reports

    The role is UK based, at the company’s Cambridge headquarters. Arm has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
