    About
     the role

If you would like to be part of a marketing team developing a new brand, focused on the importance of security, at an organization that is at the centre of the next high-tech revolution, then read on about this incredible opportunity.

PSA Certified offers a framework for securing connected devices (think smart meters, fitness trackers, connected light bulbs), plus a certification scheme to ensure that security has been implemented correctly. We’re on a mission to make the Internet of Things a safer, more secure place and are expanding our team to enable us to reach new audiences. We are recruiting for a bright graduate star to join our team to help with the day-to-day marketing logistics plus increasing the digital promotion of our scheme across the web and social media.

What will I be accountable for?

In this role you will have exposure across all elements of marketing, from planning and logistics, through to implementation and analysing results.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll be directly involved in activities such as:

    • Involvement in planning and coordination of campaigns including social media, events, webinars, emails in conjunction with the wider marketing organisation.
    • Responsible for the execution of new and engaging content, alongside the graphics agency.
    • Involvement in starting a new social media strategy alongside a digital agency: helping to write copy for social media channels and working with internal colleagues to promote new content on social media.
    • Creation and maintenance of website content including working with an external agency, identifying and monitoring issues and coordinating updates.
    • Working with procurement, finance and legal teams to ensure processes are running smoothly.
    • Proof-reading and copy-editing written content, ensuring content is completed to deadlines.
    • Helping to measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns by collecting data and pulling reports.
    • Coordination with team members to create presentations for industry events, tracking new event submissions and event deadlines from start to finish.
    • Conducting research into competitors and audiences to guide marketing strategies.
    • Organising internal communications to share successes and latest news.

    Job Requirements

Ideally, you’d have a passion for technology and the role of security and would be excited by the challenge of bringing a new brand to life.

What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

    • Bachelor Degree, preferably in marketing, business or psychology.
    • Interest in digital marketing and web technologies: web design, social media fundamentals, search engine optimization (SEO) and web analytics.
    • Ability to be super organised and have an impeccable attention to detail, motivated by delivering on time and to brief.
    • Ideally, you’d have writing experience, or feel comfortable checking written content to ensure it’s of great quality.
    • Willingness to take ownership of a problem and obtain solutions, working with the wider team or independently with minimal direction or supervision.
    • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience with graphic design and ability to come up with creative ideas would be a bonus.

What are the desired behaviours for this role?
