Does technology excite you? Do you enjoy writing? Arm’s Technical Writing interns work with exciting and challenging projects that really impact the technological world. We look for students who want hands-on experiences that put theory into practice. People at Arm are extraordinarily diverse; this fosters a community of dedicated, innovative, and talented professionals – and we want you to join us and bring your fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and curiosity.
As an intern at Arm, you will be involved in real projects that have real impact, while also building on key skills for your future studies and employment. Working on interesting new projects is exciting, but we also recognize the importance of receiving support. That’s why your line manager will have regular 1-to-1 meetings with you to offer ongoing feedback and development suggestions.
Our Austin team is searching for an Intern Information Developer with our Technical Communications team. Tech Comms is the glue between the products that engineering create – and how our global customers use them to achieve their goals. Information Developers are responsible for building the technical content for all Arm products, including user assistance and multimedia. Tech Comms has a strong presence in all of Arm’s global design centres. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and range from graduates to expert writers. We work in small teams, so your contributions will really make a difference.
What will I do?
You’ll have the chance to develop technical understanding of one or more Arm products, collaborate with other teams, and maybe create some customer-facing content. You will gain real experience of what it is to be an Information Developer at Arm. You will most likely own a small project. To help you succeed, we will provide you with mentorship, and a collaborative environment for you to grow your skills. The project might be to build a piece of content that will live on our website, a presentation you'll deliver based on your own research, or a tool which improves a process.
What we are looking for?

- You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You are creative and have an open mind to different perspectives.
- You enjoy the writing process.

Above all we value your enthusiasm, your ability to learn, and your curiosity! You should include a cover letter when applying to further tell us about yourself and why you believe you're a good fit for this internship.
