    Job Description

    Extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join Arm. You will lead the Arm Compiler and LLVM software project in Cambridge, working closely with large engineering teams performing at the highest level, and interacting with senior stakeholders around the company.

    You will:
    • Own planning, scheduling, tracking and monitoring, working closely with the engineering teams and product management.
    • Motivate and drive teams to deliver against commitments and deadlines.
    • Capture and monitor issues and risks and manage dependencies including those with other teams.
    • Work with business functions such as Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, Legal and Operations.
    • Work constructively and pro-actively to help continually develop and improve our processes and ways of working.
    • Have excellent organisational skills, a can-do attitude and be a collaborative member of the management team.

     

    Job Requirements

    Essential Skills & Experience
    • 5 years+ leading large (20+ team size) complex iterative (Agile) technical software projects.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills influencing and motivating teams and stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of delivery against commitments and deadlines.
    • Pro-actively driving delivery, change and seeking continuous improvement.
    • Effective communication skills.

    Desirable Skills & Experience
    • General understanding of hardware / software design and quality.
    • Familiarity with project and development management tools
    e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence.
    • Managing sub-contractors and suppliers.
    • Engineering background (3 years+).
    • Understanding of DevOps.
    • Accredited certification PMP, APM, Prince2, CAPM or equivalent.
