    The aim of our internships is to develop your potential by taking part in the development of the next generation of CPUs that will appear in the most desirable products over the next 3 years and give you an incredible variety of potential career paths. The Local design team is a good combination of very expert engineers and some of the most enthusiastic and hardworking graduates, coming from the best engineering schools. Collectively, the team is highly creative, collaborative, delivery orientated and committed.     A wide variety of internship topics is offered in microarchitecture and design for which you will have to show and grow strong development capabilities in CPU microarchitecture knowledge and C/C++ and HDL languages. Design internships include:

    Job Requirements

    Are you a good fit for Arm? 

    In order to be considered, you will need to be in your last year of Master studies (BAC+5 or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant subject, and be available for 5 or 6 months for an internship. Other degree types may be considered with relevant experience.

     We are looking for students enthusiastic about new technologies, high-end mobile computing, and innovation.

    You will be working on a highly challenging project, requiring a deep interest in advanced CPU features, excellent knowledge of computer systems, strong analytic skills, and a high degree of autonomy and creativity.

    A different set of skills and knowledge are required:

    Essential Skills:

    -        Microprocessor/CPU microarchitecture knowledge.

    -        Microprocessor/ASIC systems knowledge.

    -        HDL design knowledge.

    -        Experience with at least one programming language.

    -        Fluency in English.


    Desired Skills:

    -        Basic Knowledge of the Arm architecture.

    -        Assembly language programming, ideally in Arm assembler.

    -        Use of UNIX and shell programming.

    -        Familiarity with versioning environment such as git.

    -        Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively

    -        Good inter-personal skills



    Salary – 1750 euros / month

    Lunch vouchers

    1 day off (authorized leave) / month


    Internship duration

    6 months.

    About the office

    The staff at the Arm Sophia Antipolis design center is mostly focused on CPU design. Sophia Antipolis is a technology park that’s surrounded by a large national park, with wild boar that live within the city and can be seen strolling through the tech park. It’s conveniently located a quick 30 minute drive southwest of Nice, 45 minutes to Monaco, and only 20 minutes to Cannes.
