    Job Description

    Introduction

    We are looking for young talented people for our intern positions with interest for graphics processors, design, prototyping, programming, verification and alike, who wants to be a part of creating the next generation of Arm technology. We are looking for those who are starving to use their skills and want to be invested in by a major international employer. 

    As an intern at Arm, you will be introduced to different technology as shown below:

    • Designing graphics processors
    • Validate and verify, read and write specifications, analyze ideas, simulate, check functions, propose solutions, program
    • Assisting in the implementations, doing physical implementation for the space, power consumption and clock frequency
    • Design and development of 3D graphics drivers for the latest APIs
    • Analysis of benchmarks and games
    • Demo creation
    • Enhance automated test infrastructure (Linux/Python/Arm Platforms (CPU + GPU))
    • Deliver latest software for global release

    Job Requirements

    Are you a good fit for Arm?
    In order to be considered, you will be studying Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant subject. Other degree types may be considered with relevant experience. 

    Skills and experience that we look for:
    • A keen interest in processors and digital systems
    • Understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Creativity and ability to communicate ideas effectively
    • Good inter-personal and teamwork skills

    About the office

    The Arm Trondheim office focuses on expertise in graphics hardware, driver software, FPGA and ASIC implementation and performance analysis. Our office used to be a bank, and we now use the vault as a games room! Trondheim is a picturesque city located on the Trondheimsfjord and an excellent place to see the beautiful aurora borealis.
