    Job Description

    Would you like to be a part of Arm’s continued success in the mobile industry, and contribute to taking it to the next level? We’re looking for someone to play a pivotal role for the mobile market in Client Solution Technical Marketing team, located in Korea. This position belongs to Client Line of Business that is responsible for visual consumer electronics such as wearable, smart phone, large screen compute, DTV, and other form factors.

    To have impact, you will need the ability to blend a technical and commercial understanding of the mobile market, and with that, to build a robust network with partners for capturing short and long term market requirements, and to synthesize them to create documented tactics and strategies proposal for the company. You will also need to lead and execute a partner strategy by working with regional sales and FAE team, and also with technical experts, engineers, product/solution managers, and business owners inside of Arm. Overall, a strong desire and belief to change in the industry, and proactiveness to deliver on such belief would be a core value for this role. This senior manager position will be a recognized internal and external expert on mobile, mostly smart phones, as well as on the regional market and partners.

    What will I be accountable for?

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Capture and maintain a view of the market and the partner landscape, and key technology trends for a smart phone
    • Create and drive market requirements specification for a solution, tailored for a mobile market sub-segment
    • Identify market opportunities for the client solutions, and create/promote its messaging to partners
    • Create and execute the partner tactics and strategies for client line of business
    • Short and long term market modeling and forecasting, and the impact on financials
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and influencers

    What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

    • Strong technical background and understanding in mobile and consumer market from semiconductor IP level, key components, to device development
    • Ability to analyze industry dynamics with a view to developing forecasts, impacts, and practical strategies for gaining market share
    • Capability of fostering and maintaining deep partnership with customers and partners to identify and drive win-win opportunities and strategies
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including English proficiency
    • Extraordinary skills in content development for market analysis and presentations ; solid Microsoft Office skills
    • Active communication with managers, team members, and colleagues/stakeholders in the organization
    • Enthusiasm and drive, ability to proactively schedule own workload and plan tasks effectively with strategic and big picture thinking
    • High motivation to work unsupervised, both independently and as part of a team
    • Demonstrable experience aligning multiple stakeholders to pursue new strategies and tactical implementation of multi-pronged strategies

    Preferred Background and Experience

    • Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
    • Current knowledge of mobile technologies and market dynamics
    • A minimum of five years’ experience in the mobile industry or related
    • The latest working experiences in a mobile OEM or silicon vendor is a plus
