This role presents an opportunity to contribute to state of the art Machine Learning technology. You will help create the software that enables development of deep learning applications in smart cities, home automation, self-driving cars and many other areas.

    About the Role

Arm's Machine Learning team is seeking an experienced compiler engineer to build a range of state of the art solutions for a variety of markets. This is a rare opportunity to join a compiler team early, and have a marked impact on both strategy and implementation.

You will apply your experience and insight within this domain to architect, build and optimise compilers for machine learning networks targeting Arm’s range of CPU, GPU and NPU.

    Job Requirements

    Core Skills and Experience

    • Extensive experience developing production compiler / toolchain.
    • Strong working knowledge of compiler optimization techniques.
    • Individual contributor in a team of highly skilled engineers, with a track record of delivery and strong technical social engineering skills.
    • Passion for contributing to open source software projects.
    • Strong C, C++ skills and an awareness of Python.
    • Familiarity with graph compilation frameworks and high level compiler optimizations applicable to Machine Learning.

    Desirable Skills and Experience

    • Knowledge of CPU and GPU processor architecture.
    • Knowledge of techniques of loop optimization, parallelization and vectorisation.
    • Knowledge of Arm architecture.
    • Experience working and communicating with remote design centres.
    • You have developed high level optimizations using a production compiler framework.

You don't need prior exposure to Machine Learning frameworks like Glow, XLA , MLIR or TVM, but this kind of expertise would be an advantage.

Are you excited by this challenge? Do you have the aptitude and skills to forge new technology in a cutting-edge domain? If so, come talk to us, we'd love to hear from you.
