    Job Description

ARM improves people's lives by spreading intelligence in electronic products that transform the way we live and work. ARM is indeed at the heart of the technologies of telephony, IoT, automotive, security and artificial intelligence (AI).

Do you want to bring your skills, your motivation to all these exciting technical fields?

The common point of all these technologies is 'standard-cell'. They are all largely using standard-cells. Hence, performances and quality of state of the art standard-cells are directly impacting the final applications.

The development of standard-cells libraries is, therefore, a real gateway to all design aspects of System-On-Chip (SoC), and is a good opportunity to acquire a deep understanding of the microelectronic world.

You demonstrate a first or already a long experience in standard-cell, you are passionate about leading-edge technology, and want to join a small, dynamic and diverse team? The position is located in ARM Sophia-Antipolis, which is one of the most beautiful parts of France, at the heart of Europe’s largest and most dynamic technology park.

Apply, we are willing to hear from you!

    Job Requirements

The standard-cell development engineer is improving the design of logical libraries (architecture, schematic, Layout), from the creation to release of all the necessary views: Including PnR (Placement and Routing), timing analysis and any others analysis done at a SoC level. (noise, IR ...)

You will take part of all the different stages of cell development:

    • Transistor level design (schematic and layout)
    • Characterization.
    • Generate all the views supported by our Physical-IP product line.
    • Validation of the views generated in the different flows of the industry.
    • You will actively collaborate with design-automation, source, teams and layout teams, in order to improve our methods and products.

    Description of the profile

    • You are dynamic, curious, and motivated to develop yourself
    • You have an engineering diploma or university degree(s) in Electronic Engineering, or thesis in the fields of micro-electronics. Other profiles can be considered in case of significant experience.
    • You have a good knowledge of the Standard-cell usage
    • You like script/programming to automate the task you are working on.
    • You demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
    • Having 3 to 15 years of experiences in this field

Want to be part of a high performing team defining the future? We are willing to train and develop you as needed!
