    About the role

    We are looking for an extraordinarily hardworking product manager to lead our Machine Learning initiatives across the Pelion platform spanning Cloud, Edge and Microcontrollers. This is an early stage opportunity to create and drive the vision for bringing Machine Learning capabilities to life in Pelion IoT applications - from model creation, training, validation, compression, and deployment.

    You will work with multiple groups within arm using capabilities across hardware design, software services and research to create new capabilities and productize existing ones. We believe our large footprint in the stack of technologies needed for IoT applications - from small devices running on arm's chip designs, to our partner ecosystem of edge devices and gateways, to our suite of on-premise and cloud based software services - creates an unparalleled opportunity for us to bring to bear unique offerings.

    The role is based in San Jose with occasional travel to customers and other Arm sites.

    What will I be accountable for?

    -Build the vision, strategy, and roadmap of Machine Learning bets arm should make to create industry leadership position in IoT.
    -Build new ML/AI technologies and services to make it easier for IoT applications to incorporate them and derive significant increase in value.
    -Drive experimentation through ideation, prototyping and agile execution.
    -Keep on top of the latest innovations and developments across the AI/ML community and find opportunities for arm to stay ahead of the curve.
    -Identify key success metrics for product and demonstrate progress through rigorous tracking, assessment and rapid course-correction.

    Job Requirements

    What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

    -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with a minimum of 5+ years of product management experience.
    -Experience in applying ML technologies towards achieving and enhancing end use cases.
    -Experience with collaborating with data science teams and ML developers.
    -Ability to define crisply define Minimum Viable Product based on business and strategic measures.
    -Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of organization on various subjects, including product plans &technical architecture.
    -Experience or exposure to the IoT, embedded and cloud space and technologies, or major industry verticals using them.
    -Collaborate and drive teamwork across operating styles and perspectives.

    Desirable skills

    -Strong knowledge with software development lifecycle methods (e.g., agile)Solid understanding with web service and embedded software delivery
    -The ability to adapt to change and show understanding
