    Job Description

    Arm is looking for an experienced Program Manager to organise and run programs within the Automotive and IoT Group, spanning the UK, Europe, Asia and the US. Working with innovative technology, the successful candidate will provide strategic insight to teams and product managers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.

    Focussing on the Automotive team, you will work closely with product managers and technical leads to oversee complex development projects from concept all the way through to delivery. You will have an excellent ability to manage scope and expectations to enable successful delivery of projects and maximise on opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for delivery of programmes and projects to timescale, quality and budget.
    • You will build plans for effective execution, monitoring/tracking and control, identify slippages/concerns throughout the development and propose and plan solutions
    • Ensure you have an overall view on the projects, guaranteeing that interdependencies are raised quickly and addressed from a technical and operational perspective.
    • You will decide on suitable strategies and objectives for effective program execution
    • Assess program performance to improve and maximize return-on-investment
    • You will need to resolve high level project issues affecting program execution
    • Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities so you increase effectiveness and efficiency

    Job Requirements

    What skills and experience will you need?

    • Proven experience as a Program Manager delivering technology related programs or similar managerial position
    • Excellent understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
    • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
    • Strong communication, influencing and people skills, and a dedication to collaborative working to enable networking both internally and externally to Arm
    • Excellent problem-solving ability
    • A great team-mate, dedicated, and willing to drive issues through to conclusion.
    • Experience from working in an international business across many different regions and within a multicultural environment.
    • Hardworking, open-minded and with strong integrity.
    • Good university degree, in electronic engineering, computer engineering or computer science ideally, although other graduates will be considered if they have relevant experience
