    Job Description

    Are you interested in propelling Arm’s Client Computing business (smartphones, personal computers, home entertainment and wearables) to new heights?

    We are looking for an expert solution planner with a background in either the IP or Silicon industry. You will be responsible for the strategy and the planning of solutions for one or more of the Client business sub-segments.

    You will work closely with a variety of IP product managers, engineers and business teams across Arm as well as interacting with our customers and partners. 
     

    What will I be accountable for? 

    • In concert with the Solution Technical Marketing team, craft and maintain a sub-segment strategy playbook that captures market landscape, technology trends and strategies for business success
    • Creation and management of a solution roadmap that addresses the needs of the sub-segment whilst aligning with the business imperatives

    • In partnership with other Client teams and engineering partners, drives creation of Marketing and Solution Requirement Specifications aligned with strategies, roadmap and based on a deep understanding of the customer needs and the technical requirements for the vertical market

    • Establish and nurture the solution value proposition into solution offering proposals, including orchestrating competitive and SWOT analyses

    • Driving solutions from roadmap-concept to approved status
      Key contributor to the creation of outbound marketing and go to market plans; key participant in customer design win activities

    Job Requirements

    What skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

    • Proven experience in a solution/product planning or product management role in a relevant field 
    • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science  
    • Eye for business – understands market landscape and business challenges 
    • Real passion for technology with recent experience in the IP or semiconductor space; Ability to synthesise and analyse requirements from a wide variety of resources. 
    • Leadership - influences, defines and drive decisions in a dedicated, assertive manner, can articulate ideas and concepts in a compelling and targeted manner to promote change 
    • Presence and Communications - can build and facilitate engagement and dialogue and open communication in stressful situations, can communicate goals and plans to critical project partners 
    • Self-starter - Comfortable driving unchartered, high paced programs with limited oversight 
    • Be able to keep the big picture in focus, while handling highly complex interconnected systems running multi-disciplinary programs with potentially conflicting interests towards a common goal 
    • Highly analytical - Data driven and possess strong problem-solving skills, able to structure complicated issues and find creative solutions to business challenges 
    • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to bring difficult discussions to the table and arbitrate different viewpoints effectively, not afraid to speak up to ensure the success of the program and call out issues 
    • Excellent communications, proven ability to influence at all levels and driving results in a complex matrix organization
