Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Create the program structures and governance required to deliver the program goals, objectives and benefits.
Build a plan for effective execution, monitoring/tracking and control, identify slippages/concerns throughout the development and propose and plan solutions.
Coordinate cross-project activities and track dependencies.
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
Coordinate functional safety strategy across projects to deliver an effective system solution.
Decide on suitable strategies and objectives for effective program execution.
Management of project and program stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.
Apply change, risk and resource management.
Monitor program performance and aim to maximize ROI.
Resolve high-level project issues affecting program execution.
Provide reports for Operation and Engineering Senior leadership teams.
Attend customer/partner meetings as applicable
Proven experience as a Program Director or similar managerial position.
Proven track record in managing large, complex hardware and/or software programs
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods with a strong desire and enthusiasm to improve efficiency
Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software/tools
Broad experience of different development workflows and methodologies (waterfall, enterprise Agile) within a multi-disciplinary environment
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
A team player, pro-active, and willing to drive issues through to conclusion
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent problem-solving ability and strong analytical approach
Knowledge of international safety standards (IEC 61508 and ISO 26262) and how they apply to electronic systems and IP design.
Effective Change Manager with the ability to infuse trust while providing structured plan and clarity to stakeholders together with strong focus on end results and follow through.
Experience from working in an international business across many different global regions and within a multicultural environment therefore requiring occasional travel to ARM and customer/partner sites
A team player, pro-active, and willing to drive issues through to conclusion.
Good interpersonal skills to enable networking both internally and externally to Arm.
Enthusiastic, open-minded and strong integrity with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Strong strategic and commercial thinker, able to assimilate complex and diverse information
Provide thought-provoking leadership, capable of inspiring engineers and balancing process against progress
Challenge the norm constructively at all levels of the organisation and your enthusiasm, dedication and desire to work as a key part of a successful team is evident
Good university degree, in electronic engineering, computer engineering or computer science ideally, although other science graduates will be considered if they have relevant experience.

At our global HQ in Cambridge, England we house the majority of our engineering and our corporate groups that deliver our extraordinary success.
