    As our Director of Software Strategy for software security & privacy at Arm, you will build ecosystem solutions around the latest security features found in Arm's current and future cores - putting those features into context at all levels in the software stack. You will lead the deployment of these features in the ecosystem.

    You will be responsible for the collection of partner requirements, business planning, analyzing industry trends, building marketing collateral and supporting sales opportunities. As a key member of the Client Software group you will collaborate directly with strategic Operating System and Independent Software partners, supporting our goal to keep Arm at the forefront of security and privacy.

    What will you be accountable for?

    • Collaborating across Arm and with third-parties to ensure a complete eco-system around future products
    • Nurturing collaborative relationships with Arm partners by working with software and hardware architects and developers to secure key design wins and adoption of standards

    • Developing collateral including presentations, white papers and benchmarks, for products and their applicability to customer applications and use cases.

    • Partnering with our business development teams to develop strategies that explore new markets and expand existing ones

    • Securing key industry endorsements for Arm security technologies

    Job Requirements

    What skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

    To be successful in this role, we recommend you come equipped to demonstrate experience in the following during the application/interview process:

    • Your deep knowledge of software & security technologies as used by rich operating systems and applications in the mobile market

    • Your thought leadership in the role of security and privacy in the lives of end users and society

    • Engineering background and degree-level qualification. Ideally a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or some similar discipline

    • Your willingness to travel to meet with our customers and colleagues

    • Excellent social and communication skills

    • Experience with writing business plans and commercial justifications

    This role can be based in Cambridge or Manchester.
