Position Description:

Crank Software started when co-founders Brian, Thomas, and Jason were tired of watching manufacturers rush to launch poor-quality embedded touchscreens on their smart, connected devices. The embedded GUI design and development process was a huge source of frustration, as teams of all sizes struggled to recreate the smartphone experience that customers expect today, all while delivering on time and budget. The Regional Software Sales Manager is responsible for developing &  managing customers in an assigned regional geographic territory while communicating with HQ's software application and developer team. This position reports to the Vice President (Sales).


Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to find, qualify, and coordinate inbound and outbound sales leads.

Engage in ongoing communication with leads via phone, email, online chat, schedule demo, generate quotes.

Educating leads on a software product, learning about their organization's needs, & building value around meeting with our development HQ Team.

Schedule virtual software demos via Zoom or Team, or WebEx.

Collect, organize, track, and report on critical data points related to sales opportunities in CRM.

Participate in conferences, webinars, tradeshows to generate leads.

Manage and nurture assigned sales accounts.

Articulate the value proposition of software solutions.

Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services, etc.

Submit activity reports and sales forecasts weekly.

Position Requirements:
Bachelors' degree in Engineering (CS), Information technology, or related field.

A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives.

Must have strong business acumen, initiative, excellent judgment, and a passion for excelling.

Should be a team player.

Experience using Sales CRM such as or Microsoft Dynamics  and Power BI tools.

Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent relationship management skills.

An ability to learn new things quickly.

2 to 3+ years of account management experience within software solution sales. Customer-focused attitude, with successful sales experience.

Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a matrix organization.

Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
Ability to translate technical product information into solid customer value propositions.

Compliant track record and mindset.

Has excellent computer skills and is proficient with all related company systems/programs.

Has strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Practical time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple and at times conflicting demands.

Attention to details in maintaining required records and reports.
