Position Description:
•Business Development Manager (BDM) is a senior manager position responsible for sales leadership, business development and effective implementation of market strategy. This role requires experience in selling analytical instruments in industrial and academia segment. Managing both direct and indirect channels. Familiar with Salesforce.com, sales process, budget, forecast, order linearity and conversion rates.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Engage field sales, monitor sales process and improve the win rates
Support and provide guidance to sales team in orders conversion
Understand the target applications and requirements, identify key customers and promote our offering to those customers
Aligning sales and marketing strategy with impactful results
Formulate and execute campaigns to pursue strategic non-metal segments in China region.
Manages and maintains order pipeline and opportunities in CRM system, SalesForce.com

Position Requirements:
At least 5 years in sales and managerial position
Strong sales leadership and managerial skills
Experience in selling ICP-OES, ICP-MS, XRF will be added advantage
Relevant experience and familiarity in industrial and academia segment
Ability to identify opportunities for cross and upsell based on technical knowledge
Ability to use Salesforce.com and other on-line tools effectively
Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
Frequent travel within China region is required
Effective communication and organizational skills are essential. Accountability for yearly budget and ensuring sales performance of field sales
