Position Description:
An exciting opportunity design, programming, simulating, developing, testing and managing systems for automated machinery and processes  within a manufacturing environment.

The Automation Engineer will collaborate with others and be responsible for specifying, installing, documenting, and troubleshooting automation equipment for new and existing products and processes, translating conceptual designs into functional equipment and products. The engineer will improve plant and equipment operating efficiency by providing automation and engineering support to the plant operations. Develops and enhances process automation application for present and future automation systems.

Position Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related technical degree
•3-5 years of experience working for a manufacturing facility as a controls engineer
•Knowledge and experience in the design, programming, configuration, application and maintenance of electrical industrial instrumentation, automation, process control, and industrial computer systems (HMI development, PLC programming and SQL database / reporting development) including control panel layout and wire diagrams.
•Experience with Allen Bradley products
•Experience providing solution development concepts
•Experience with executing a project in a structured manner
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to provide occasional off-hours support as needed
