This position is a sales support position created to work with Regional Managers and distributors in the Long Term Care market. The ideal candidate will have the right mix of skills to provide excellent service to our End-user Customers, Distributors, and Sales / Marketing Team when performing all assigned tasks. Tasks all revolve around providing sales and marketing support to our field staff. Some travel will be required including working with Regional Managers, visiting customers at their locations and attending trade shows and Rauland meetings.
Key Accountabilities include:
Provide pre-sales support to our Regional Managers and channel partners.
- Maintain application proficiency on assigned products.
- Guide distributors in the proper application of products based on customer needs, competitive position and market requirements.
- Assist field staff and distributor sales people in managing sales opportunities in Sales Force.
Assist with quotations and pricing, with Rauland field staff and Distributors.
Coordinate Customer visits to our Solution Center as well as Rauland sales training classes.
Assist in the development of product support materials for use by our customers, including presentation slides and brochures.
Provide strategic support with regard to market knowledge and our competitors
- Identify and analyze competitors and the Long-Term care market
- Assist in the development and updating of competitive analysis
Assist in the preparation and planning as well as attend Regional Marketing Conferences, product launches, etc.
Qualify sales leads from our website, tradeshows, email campaigns, etc. for our Regional Managers.
Four year college degree
Working with an organization that sells communications into the Long Term care market, preferably Nurse Call Systems
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize those tasks
Strong presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to comprehend technical details,
Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time
