The Brand Specialist is responsible for driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards and brand integrity. The Brand Specialist will be the Macy’s Herald Square brand specialist for all of The Kasper Group brands across all size zones. The Brand Specialist will increase product awareness and brand loyalty thru strong presentations and product knowledge at Macy’s Herald Square.
Key Job Responsibilities
Represent The Kasper Group Brand in a professional manner by providing a well maintained, organized shopping environment.
Partner with the MTM and DM to execute The Kasper Group merchandising standards
Work with the store teams to set sale events and execute markdown strategies
Follow Visual Merchandising Guides across all Kasper Group brands on a daily basis
Communicate best sellers, slow sellers, stock and sizing opportunities to your Kasper Group Field Merchandise Manager
Communicate with sales associates daily regarding sales opportunities and product knowledge
Train and develop selling specialists to improve selling skills, clientele and in store events
Actively participate in the selection and training process of selling specialists
Daily Job Responsibilities
Follow current visual merchandising guides for floor sets and standards
Newest receipts should be maintained on the aisle and mannequins should reflect current merchandise following VMG’s
Partner with visual to maintain mannequin standards across all floors
Insure that floor is visit ready at all times
Size all fixtures
Communicate weekly events to the store teams
Assist sales associates by providing product knowledge and selling information
Partner with selling associates and sales managers regarding new merchandise and clientele opportunities
Provide weekly feedback to store teams regarding floor feedback and opportunities via email format
Document statistical results and achievements by door weekly
Provide weekly schedule to store teams
Conduct product knowledge seminars with the store team highlighting new deliveries and best sellers
Create and develop mini events, outsource from outside organizations to participate in order to drive business by brand

Some college preferred – classes in retail, fashion merchandising
Previous retail and/or merchandising experience preferred
Basic computer knowledge – emailing, sending and receiving attachments, excel, word, downloading photos
