Position Description:

Radiologic Tech - Hillcrest Hospital Claremore, FT, EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS - MUST BE ARRT REGISTERED

And when you need emergency care, our 24/7 emergency physician –staffed ER is right where you want it to be – close by- to give you prompt medical treatment. In addition, this position provides radiographic films and procedures to patients at a technical level.  Operates and maintains imaging equipment, develops film, and prepares patient exam rooms.  Also, transports patients and provides patient services using various imaging modalities for the successful accomplishment of hospital /departmental goals and objectives

Position Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent. Must have ARRT. Must be able to work independently, perform general radiology, surgical and CT procedures. A working knowledge of state and federal radiation control regulations as they apply to diagnostic imaging required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with patients, physicians, visitors, and other staff members.  Extensive walking, standing, stooping, bending, and lifting over 50 pounds required.  Emotional demands require ability to handle high stress environment.  Must be self-motivated and have good organizational skills.
