Position Description:

BSA Health System is an extensive hospital system in Amarillo, Texas providing clinical excellence to the Texas Panhandle and the tri-state area. BSA is acclaimed for its superior quality and customer service.

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members. The EP Lab staff RN will assist as scrub, circulator/sedation RN and monitors for interventional cardiology procedures.

Position Requirements:

Licenses and Certifications:
Current Texas RN license
CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
ACLS certified

Minimum of 1-year acute care experience required
Interventional Cardiology/Cath Lab, Critical Care, or Emergency Services nursing preferred
Assess, plan, evaluates, documents total nursing process
Critical thinking skills
Ability to work as a team extremely important
Organized, able to prioritize and multi-task
Self-motivated, adaptable and being flexible are a must
Computer skills necessary; Epic documentation; CardioLab EP Recording System
Clear and effective communication with physicians, patients, families, multiple departments and other healthcare professionals
Compassionate customer service skills
Committed to patient and family satisfaction
