Responsible for a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen area, cafeteria, storeroom, and dish room areas within the food service department.
Knowledge of food preparation/handling and principles of sanitation.
Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Ability to meet minimal hospital hiring standards High School diploma or GED or equivalent preferred
Willingness to cross-train and learn new positions within the department
1 year of customer service and clerical experience preferred.
Institutional Food Service experience preferred
Food Handler's permit required
