Required Skills:
• Complete knowledge of ACNielsen collection activities including audit and causal.
• Satisfactory or above performance in all collection activities over time.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; must be able to read, write and have basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while following directions.
• Basic PC skills.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Must keep driver’s license and insurance information current and copies provided in a timely manner.
Objectives:
Assist with coordination of market workload to ensure quality, timely data collection. Provide support to Data Collection Associates in the areas of training, problem resolution, and store coverage. Provide formal training to new DCAs in market area and specialized review training to existing DCAs. Perform data validations. Take direction from Market Supervisor and other district management individuals. Responsible for meeting defined standards of work volume, quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Responsible for collecting and transmitting data gathered from designated retail stores primarily using a hand-held scanning device. Maintains a positive relationship with employees and customers as a representative of ACNielsen.
Accountabilities:
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA

¨ With direction from Market Supervisor or District Manager, coordinate assigned weekly workload to ensure adequate store coverage. Establish and maintain good communication with DCAs in assigned area to proactively ensure that quality data is collected within established deadlines on a weekly basis.

¨ Act as a resource to DCAs in assigned area to ensure the overall consistency and quality of the data collected, and provide timely resolution to obstacles. Provide assistance and guidance to a team of DCAs to help them to reach acceptable levels of performance in production and accuracy.

¨ Encourage teamwork and set the example for ethical behavior and honesty with team members.

¨ Provide formal training to new DCAs in assigned area. Provide ongoing and/or specific review training to existing DCAs.

¨ Coordinate store coverage for DCAs in the event of illness, vacation, high-volume survey weeks, etc.

¨ Proactively identify operational issues that may impact the business and communicate to the Market Supervisor and/or District Manager, allowing for issues to be resolved and corrective actions to be communicated.

¨ Provide recommended solutions on new projects involving procedural enhancements, process efficiencies, new data sources, and/or workload realignment to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects plus continuous process improvements.

¨ Assist with store line-ups, as directed by Market Supervisor and/or District Manager.

¨ Will be responsible for some regularly assigned data collection activities.






¨ Meets ACNielsen Retail Data Collection defined standards of work volume, quality, accuracy, cost containment, completeness, and timeliness by:
¨ Complying with travel and mileage standards established by Retail Data Collection.
¨ Following district management and ACNielsen expectations on cost containment.
¨ Completing assignments and transmitting data according to ACNielsen’s established procedures and schedules.
¨ Submitting time card and expense information in accordance with ACNielsen’s established procedures and schedules.

¨ Communicates effectively with district management and coworkers by:
¨ Communicating no less than weekly with district management regarding schedules/issues.
¨ Attending district meetings, as necessary.
¨ Advising district management of promotional activity changes within retail outlets.
