Job Details
The Solution Engineer (SE) will work both within project teams and
independently delivering Storage Infrastructure solutions of varying
complexity and scale. The end customers will range from medium corporations
to Fortune 500 companies. Within this role, the SE may be under the
direction of a Project Manager or may be required to act as the technical
lead with limited supervision depending on the project and their level of
experience. The SE can grow in this position and ultimately be promoted to
Solution Architect which will require design, architecture and deployment
responsibilities for projects. The SE is required to be a team player and
have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Major Field of Study:Information Technology or Equivalent
Storage Technologies (EMC, IBM, HDS, etc)
Unix Operating Experience
Switch Technologies (Brocade, McData, etc)
Database Experience
Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
Ability to work Independently.
Travel Flexibility.
CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED: EMC, IBM, BROCADE, MCDATA, SYMANTAC, SOLARIS, AIX, VERITAS, HP, and any other STORAGE / SAN / NAS technology.

Desired Skills
At least 3-5+ years of deployment and integration experience within large
corporate server environments ideally from both a project and operational
perspective. Installation and integration experience of Enterprise Storage
subsystems and Enterprise Backup software and tape libraries into
heterogeneous server environments. Ability to develop detailed
architecture plans and perform requirements analysis.
TRAVEL NOTE: Travel for this role varies. Average is 20-25% travel, sometimes no travel at all.
NOTE: This is a work from home opportunity that requires to work independently with no supervision.
