T-Mobile Netherlands BV T-Mobile Retail BV T-Mobile Klantenservice BV Protecting your personal information with the "Privacy Code of Conduct" The Privacy Code of Conduct is a corporate Directive which is binding on all members of the Deutsche Telekom Group. It applies to the handling of all the personal data of natural persons, in particular the data of customers, shareholders, employees and other third parties, contracting parties or business partners.The Privacy Code provides, among other issues, that: 1. Individuals must be given easy access to notices about the appropriate handling of their personal information.2. Such notices shall be available to individuals when their information is first collected and, subsequently, whenever it is requested. 3. Unless the collection, processing or use of their information is required for purposes of initiating or fulfilling a contract, or unless there is some other statutory authorization, the consent of the individual shall be obtained as soon as it is collected, processed or used. 4. Personal information shall not be used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected. 5. Personal information shall at all times be correct and, where necessary, kept up do date (the principle of data quality). 6. In light of the purpose(s) for which the data are being collected, processed or used, appropriate measures shall be taken to ensure that any incorrect or incomplete information is erased or, if necessary, corrected. 7. Personal information shall be appropriate, relevant and not excessive with regard to the use of the data for a specific purpose (the principle of data economy). Information shall only be processed when it is necessary (the principle of data avoidance) 8. The transmission of personal information to a third party will only occur if it is permitted by law. This may arise because it is necessary to fulfil a contractual requirement towards the individual, or because the individual has provided their consent. 9. When a company engages the services of a subcontractor to process personal information, a service agreement must describe the work to be performed, and specify the obligations of the subcontractor. 10. Appropriate technical and organizational measures for handling personal information shall be established for all company processes and Information Technology systems. 11. Every individual has the right at any time to contact the data protection department of the responsible company with questions and complaints regarding the application of this Code. 12. Every individual may at any time request information about their personal data from the responsible company, including its origin and recipient(s), the purpose of the processing or use, the people and units to whom/which their information is regularly sent, particularly if it is sent away from their home country, and about the provisions of this Code. Information about the use of your personal data During the recruitment process, your personal information may be transferred from your home country to other T-Mobile companies in Europe. Only T-Mobile recruiters, and occasionally 3rd party agencies retained by T-Mobile for recruitment purposes, will be able to access it (T-Mobile requires these 3rd party agencies to adequately safeguard your personal data and not use it for any unauthorized purposes). It will be used solely by T-Mobile for recruitment purposes and will not be disclosed or sold to third parties.Your personal information will be stored in a central database, which is located in North Carolina, USA. T-Mobile recruiters within the EU will be able to match candidates with open vacancies in different countries if you have given permission for them to do so during the application process. How long will T-Mobile keep your data? If you apply for a job in the European Union, your personal information will be kept for between six and twelve months from the date of our last contact with you.
