Under direct guidance, assists in pricing studies, profitability reviews, calculating premiums or reserves for new or existing products, performing research and other statistical analyses. Works with Actuarial colleagues in becoming familiar with company operations, business objectives and actuarial methodologies. Position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor.
Required Qualifications:Associate Degree or pursuit of Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Math or related field.Preferred Qualifications:GPA of 3.0 or higher1 or more actuarial examsDemonstration of problem solving skills in customer focused environmentPossess strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently
