Position Information
Position is responsible for providing safe and timely nursing care for home infusion patients within a specified service area.  Care includes assessing, teaching, troubleshooting, IV access, placement and care, lab draws, nursing care and discharge planning.  Serves as pt. advocate and liaison with physicians, referral sources and other agencies.  Communicates appropriately with other members of the care team.

*Since the salary for this exempt position is pulled from a table assuming the position is full time, any position scheduled to work less than 80 hours a pay period will be prorated.

Experience Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.  One year home care experience preferred.  Excellent IV skills required.  Pediatric experience highly desirable..

Education Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  BS degree preferred..

Licensure/Certification Requirements :
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of NC with no substantiated findings.  Valid drivers license and proof of car insurance.  CPR certification required.

Hours of Work : Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm
Weekend Requirements : As Needed
