Position Information
Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Orthopaedics and other attendings, provides pre- and post-operative care, fracture care, post trauma care and general muscoloskeletal care in the Orthopaedic practice of WakeMed Faculty Physicians. Functions as an educator for students and residents from healthcare education programs. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Faculty Physicians.
Experience Requirements
:
Minimum of two years in an Orthopaedic or primary care setting. .
Education Requirements
:
Successful completion of AMA Physician Assistant Program .
Licensure/Certification Requirements
:
Registered with NC Medical Board as Physician Assistant. Successfully completed National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (National Boards).
