Position Information
Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (GI)and other attendings, provides pre- and post-procedure care in the GI practice of WakeMed Faculty Physicians. Functions as an educator for students and residents from healthcare education programs. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Faculty Physicians.
Experience Requirements
:
Minimum of one year experience in an appropriate care setting. Prior experience in precepting medically oriented students is desired.
Education Requirements
:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
:
Registered with NC Medical Board as Nurse Practictioner and maintaining all certification necessary for ongoing practice.
Hours of Work
:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
