Position Information The WakeMed Faculty Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The physician is responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents and possibly medical students. The physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance. The physician may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Completion of an appropriate residency and training program.Graduate of an approved school of medicine. Completion of internship and residency in area of specialty. Licensed to practice as a medical physician in the state of North Carolina. Board Certified or eligible in appropriate specialty with approved WakeMed staff privileges. See Above
